BACKPACK BETTER
Those who backpack know that the love of it comes from being immersed in a new culture. One way to do this is through language. Not only does knowing the local language make getting around easier, it helps you connect with people. Duolingo aims to make the backpacking experience even better by encouraging language exchange among backpackers and making learning some of the language a part of the travel experience.

DUOLINGO DRINKING GAME
Developing an interactive Duolingo game will encourage language exchange by prompting players with language related challenges and games.
HOSTEL DE DUO
Duolingo Hostels promote language learning by labeling things in the hostel in the local language. They will also host language exchange meet ups and lessons because it’s not vacation if you don’t learn something.
FLY WITH DUO
By partnering with an airline and adding Duolingo lessons to in flight entertainment, passagers can use long distance flights to brush up on the local language and customs of their destination.
